The HomeFree Duet connects to the user’s home digital TV aerial and wireless network router, and streams real-time digital TV at full broadcast resolution to iPads, as well as Windows laptops and PCs. Users then watch TV using the HomeFree player. The device features twin tuners, enabling two iPad users to watch different TV channels simultaneously. The HomeFree player’s intuitive touchscreen interface gives iPad users full channel and programme information, complete with electronic programme guide. Users change channels simply by tapping and dragging on the iPad screen. The player can even capture screenshots of TV programmes being watched, enabling users to share snapshots with friends and upload stills to social networking sites.
