Record Sales for Interactive

Enfield, London, 18th June 2009, Interactive Ideas, one the UK's leading value-added Software and Technology distributors, announced today it recorded record turnover for the last financial year of £16,2 million.

This news comes as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary and on the back of being named Red Hat distributor of the year at the Red Hat EMEA partner summit in April. Recognition as a leading value-added distributor has also come with being short-listed in the channel awards from CRN, Microscope and PC Retail in the past year.

Managing Director Mike Trup welcomed the financial results, commenting "Interactive has experienced strong growth across both the corporate reseller and consumer retail sales divisions of the company. With many of the companies represented by Interactive being disruptive or a cost effective alternative to the brand leaders, the current business climate has seen an increase in buyers willing to explore alternative technologies.

Mike continued "This combined with our value-added approach to supporting our vendors and customers has enabled us to achieve another record set of results."
