Environmental Policy Statement

At Interactive Ideas we are conscious of our responsibility towards the environment. We have already demonstrated our commitment to the environment through a number of initiatives, including reusing and recycling product packaging.

As a modern client focused company we anticipate our customer's demand for environmentally responsible business practices, this has led us to formalise our commitment through a policy statement.

Interactive Ideas commit to compliance with current and future legislation. We seek to be progressive in our approach to the environment, thus we observe industry best practice and exceed where practically possible.

Environmental Innovation

Establish a culture of environmental innovation where all staff are encouraged to contribute to finding creative solutions to improve Interactive Ideas' environmental performance.

Energy and resource management

Ensure efficient use of energy by identifying all areas of energy consumption within the company, monitoring usage and investigating opportunities to increase efficiency. Areas of energy usage include lighting, IT, heating and transport.

Choose the most environmentaly friendly source available and practically possible

Minimise the amount of waste going to landfill by applying the waste hierarchy, prevent, reduce, reuse, recycle, to all materials that pass through Interactive Ideas. This includes products, product packaging and administrative materials such as paper and printer cartridges.

Staff

Ensure that all staff are aware of our environmental commitment and what that means for their area of work. Provide relevant information and support to assist them in improving their environmental performance. Encourage all staff to contribute to Interactive Ideas' overall environmental strategy.

Suppliers

Communicate our environmental policy to our suppliers and encourage good environmental performance where appropriate. Investigate opportunities to work with suppliers and promote a culture of responsibility for environmental impact throughout the supply chain.

Customers

Communicate our commitment to the environment to our customers and ask for them to contribute feedback and ideas. Encourage and support them to treat our product in an environmentally friendly manner where possible.

WEEE Identification Mark

Peripherals products where Interactive Ideas Ltd are the sole and exclusive representative of an Overseas manufacturer from outside of the EU will display the following WEEE Identification mark.
